I was made during a thunderstorm and born on a full moon!
I thought I would share with you a little bit about my story…
Bonjour, I am Laova, the artist behind the paintings! I also am a shamanic healer & teacher, intuitive channeler, and on weekends I love to have fun with kitchen witchery!
My background in a nutshell…Creating has been a part of my life since childhood, and I began my formal career as a visual artist in 2015, expanded my journey to include teaching shamanic healing in 2019. I hold a certificate in fine arts from the University Laval in Quebec and certifications as a creativity coach and mindfulness meditation teacher.
I'm proud to be the co-founder of The Spirit World Center (2019), alongside my amazing husband, Eric Lingen. Together, we've spent the last five years helping our students to connect with their spirit guides, reclaim their personal power, and heal their souls through shamanic journeying, meditation, and other enriching spiritual practices.
For the past nine years, I have practiced shamanism and adopted a slow living lifestyle in the countryside that allows me to create, connect with nature, and assist others in healing their spiritual and emotional wounds. These experiences enrich my spiritual art and guide my teachings in the healing journey.
I am an artist, but I am also a healer, and I can’t help it but combine these two together. I want my creations to empower you, heal you, move you towards your true self, and connect with the magic in life.
My purpose is to create art that invites spirit guides into your life, filling your home with the magical, loving, and healing energies. It’s as if the spirit guides in the art are whispering directly to your soul, revealing secrets meant only for you.

My Creative Process
My creative process begins with a ritual of purification. I cleanse myself and my workspace to welcome energies of clarity and intention. As my studio turns into a sacred space, I open myself to the spirits.
It is now time to choose which special water I will use in my art : The waters I use are sacred, collected from rain, storms, and snow, or charged with the powerful energies of the moon, the sun, eclipses, crystals, and herbs.
Once I chose the water, I prepare the canvas and deeply immerse myself in the creative process. I allow myself to enter a trance state, where the lines between worlds is thin and permeable. In this sacred threshold, spirit guides appear.
Guided by their wisdom, my hand becomes a tool for their expressions, painting visions and messages they wish to share with you the viewer.
Each artwork is about this profound connection we can experience with our spirit guides, our ancestors and Nature. It is my heartfelt wish to share these visions and stories of healing with you through my art. And hope that one of them is calling you, helping you on your path.
